One of my research interests is in the area of visualizing data that captures unique user experiences or emotions that fall outside of conventional tracking categories. This theme also serves as the foundation for one of my classroom projects where students are challenged to design data dashboard that demonstrate this concept. By incorporating elements such as location, accompanying individuals, sensory details, and other contextual factors—both qualitative and quantitative—we aim to make the data tracking experience more personal and meaningful.
