White straight females in the age group 35-54 with a Master’s degree. Most of them have professional experience prior to teaching.
Do survey results indicate that the majority of graphic design educators are white, middle-aged females because they’re more active in responding to surveys, or is it simply a reflection of their larger representation in the field?

Unsurprisingly, most tenure-track roles are in Doctorate and Master’s Universities; public and private schools offer diverse academic ranks, while Minority-Served universities mainly use teaching tracks and adjuncts.
